Activities from Unit 5

Before that, let me apologize because I have abandoned this blog for about a month because I was too sticked to other task, and other activities...   🙏🙏🙏
The warning from my teacher that the students' blogs are have not updated yet very 'hit' me and make me remember the importance of write every experience that I think will be useful for other people.

I maybe write down my untold experience and/or all my activities during "study at home" while the 12 graders were having final assignment in the next page (actually, I went to school everyday for OSN-K training (Monday until Thursday) and as medical team in LKO (Friday), so I spent much time still at school 😅) . Now, let me fill out some activities from unit 5.

Activity 1
  1. Are you familiar with those types of piggy banks?
  2. Do you use them to save your money?
  3. Why do you use them? Why don’t you use them?
  4. Which one do you think is more effective, saving your money in the piggy bank or in a bank? Why do you think so?
Answer:
  1. Yes, I am. I am familiar with them.
  2. In the past, when I was in kindergarten and elementary school, I used to use them to save my money, but now I don't. Now I keep my money in the bank, and I keep an amounts that suits my daily needs in my wallet.
  3. I used to use them because when I was young (and until now, anyway) I thought that their shapes are cute, and they are very useful to save my money. With those piggy bank, I couldn't take back the money I had put into them. So, I wasn't tempted to buy things.
  4. I think, saving our money in the bank is more effective, because we will given a saving book which make us know the progress or amount of money we save in the bank, and we also have a debit card (ATM card) which allow us to deposit savings and withdraw the money at any ATM. However, of course banks (conventional banks) have negative side. There is still an interest system which provides additional value that is uncertain and unclear, both the value and the source. In Islam, that thing is known as usury (riba'), and usury is forbidden.
