Little Embarrassing Moment Today

After sport, I hurried went to the toilet near the Maasiina Solihiin Mosque (Mosque of 3 & 5 SHS) to change my clothes, because usually there is no long line there. After my clothes changed, I went outside and put my shoes on, while a woman wearing brown clothes with brown hijab and carrying a map were walking up the stairs and making eye contact with me. Finally, she approached me and ask about lab 3. I asked her, what kind of laboratory? She answered, computer lab. I asked again, "3 Senior High School (SHS)?" She nodded. So, I offered to show her the way. She agreed. On the way, she asked again, "Is it 3 SHS or 5 SHS?" I answered that those two school are mixed at almost every building. For example, the upstairs are 3 SHS's, but the downstairs are 5 SHS. She asked about in which class am I, and I answered that I am 11th grader. It turned out that her son was in grade 12, and was not at school at that time. She was asked by a teacher named Miss Gita to go to computer laboratory 3.

When we went down the stairs that ended at 3 SHS, she asked me, "Are you from 3 SHS or 5 SHS?"

I of course answered, "I am from 3 SHS."

Then, the woman flinched slightly. "Oh, my child is in 5 SHS. Do you know the 5 SHS's laboratory 3 then?"

I was a little confused because at the beginning, when I asked her, she nodded that she was going to the computer lab at SMAN 3. I realized that maybe she had misheard it as just computer lab 3, not 3 SHS's. Finally, I apologized because I couldn't take her to her destination. She didn't mind and apologized for bothering me. I don't mind that either. She decided to ask another 5 SHS's teacher again, perhaps in the teacher's room. I, who had originally planned to go to my classroom, continued my previous direction and parted ways with her, with a bit of awkwardness, ridiculous feeling, and embarrassment. I'm sure I can't forget it for some time.
