Generation Global Experience

Dear, readers. I am already finished all the materials and chat forum 'quests' of all the topics in Generation Global a few weeks a go. But, I haven't join the video conferences because of the unmatch schedule of the video conferences. We have to follow the schedule that based in the other country, so for us who lived in Indonesia and some other country, the video conferences take time in the so late night, almost in the midnight. That is so uncomfortable for us who have to go to school in the next morning. The dates also sometimes unsupport for us.

My first topic was about Culture, Beliefs, and Values. I chosen it to be my first topic because at that time I was so interested at culture, beliefs, and values' diversity, how it can happen (the history and basic knowledge), what is the impact, how is it real condition around the world, etc. For this topic, I give 8/10, because:

- the information I want to know still uncomplete (not too complete), but enough and easy to understanding them;

- I can ask and answer the questions in the chat-room, or in other word, discuss about what I want to know more about the topic, with all the users from many country;

- all the activities improve my English skills and make me enjoy the English learning.

I finished it in October, 16th 2022.

My score I give for other topics:

- Civic Participation: 8/10

- Climate Change: 9/10 (I like nature, science, and about life).

- Digital Wellness: 9/10 (It was so cool).

- Education: 9/10 (So touching. My favorite part is when the kids around the world explain the importance of education for them).

- Fake News and Social Media: 9/10 (as expected, the topic was interesting. I got so much new information here).

- Global Citizenship: 8/10 (interesting, but it was a little bit heavy).

Tour Budaya 2024: 5 Days, 5 Night with Friends Around Java and Bali Island

      From May 5th until 9th, almost all 11th grader students in 3 SHS Bandung took part on holiday based learning (😂😂😂) that mainly located in Bali. We paid  a certain amount of money for invaluable knowledge an unforgettable experience.     May 5th,      We depart from Bandung by train, early in the morning. We depart at 05.00 am, but we had to get ready at the station or train before departure time, of course. We were allowed to board the train at 04.00 am.  We boarded the 'Kereta Luar Biasa (KLB)' (extraordinary train) from PT KAI at Bandung Station, through the VIP gate. When I arrived, it was still quiet there. There weren't many potential passengers on other trains at the station. Only a few people had arrived before or almost at the same time as me. My mother, aunt and uncle escorted me to the edge of the station gate.      All students who will take the tour have received bracelets which are train tickets...

CAMPRT 2022

  At 11-12 of November 2022, I went camping to Ciwangun Indah Camp Lembang (CIC Lembang). Actually, the camp is for 11th grader, but I joined it as the member of Junior Red Cross with 5 other 10th grader from other class. The preparation for the camp was very short and sudden. My 12th grader seniors that would join the camp at the first suddenly couldn't join because they had so many tests and preparation to go to the university or other educational facilities. So, they just supported and taught us some things that might be needed in the camp a day before. After that, they left the rest to us. In the afternoon, after school, a day before we went camping, the Junior Red Cross members discussed about what dress-code we would like to wear during the camp, for the first and second day. Because there wasn't a deal yet in the face-to-face meet, we continued the discussion in our Line group.
